The Metropolitan Economic Development Council, Inc is committed to the holistic improvement of urban areas. The organization strives to restore and establish public spaces, support and advocate for organic entrepreneurialism. As well as to restore, preserve, and build affordable housing. Other major projects will include the research and development of green services. The organization is incorporated under NYS Nonprofit Law as a economic development organization.
